Our Story: The Significance of Block 861871
On September 18, 2024, something interesting went down at PubKey Bar in New York City. The 45th President of the United States made history by using Bitcoin in public for the first time — he bought a burger (source).
This transaction happened at block height 861871, a moment that quickly caught the attention of the Bitcoin community. Shortly after, an unknown developer, funded by a Binance withdrawal wallet, launched a token under the same ticker “$861871” CA - ERC20 0x0A49A0af017Dbb19228b3519432B4790650fc03E. In just 24 hours, it generated nearly $2 million in trading volume before the developer abandoned the project. With the community left without direction, we saw the perfect chance to step in, honor the block, and build something meaningful.
We’re a self-funded team, fueled by a passion for crypto and a coffee addiction that’s kept us going through multiple market cycles. We’ve been quietly working on a Web3 payment management platform, but seeing this historic transaction felt like the right time to bring it to life. With Uniswap v4 on the way, we’re looking forward to bringing its features into future versions of the platform to keep decentralized payments running even better.
With subLok, we’re building a Web3 payment management platform that makes handling digital payments simple. Just like this first presidential transaction changed how people see digital currency, we’re here to change how people manage payments, making it easier for everyone.
If you feel like you have a unique skill that could add value to our team, shoot us a message on Telegram. We’re always open to hearing from talented people who share our vision.

Here’s the quick version:
V1 Release
For V1, subLok will roll out Web3 payment links and invoicing. Anyone with a wallet can create a payment link or send an invoice, all through a simple Web3 interface. Payments go directly to your wallet — we don’t handle or have access to your funds, keeping everything non-custodial and secure.
When someone clicks on your payment link, a simple payment window opens. The user connects their wallet, sees the payment details, and with a few clicks, sends the payment directly to you. No need for manual transfers, test payments, or copy-pasting wallet addresses — it’s fast, easy, and secure. Whether it’s for a one-time payment, a subscription, or a quick invoice, just create your link, share it, and get paid.
Token Utility
In V1, holders of 1 million or more of 861871 tokens will have access to premium features, unlocking extra tools and benefits on the platform.
Example
Alex, a digital artist, uses subLok to send Web3 invoices to clients for his work. With just a few clicks, he creates a link, shares it, and gets paid directly to his wallet.
